We went and did laundry at the local laundry mat last Thursday night. It was really interesting the machines didn't take quarters. You got this credit card looking thing and put it in the wall like an ATM and then put in your money just like you would to get quarters and instead of getting a bunch of quarters it put money on your card. Then when you went to start your washer or dryer you put the card into a slot where the quarters would have gone. It was pretty neat.

Wow, that's so much easier than working with quarters.
Do you have any idea why they call it a "Laundry Mat"??? I don't and I was just curious.
